2B Procrastination Nation

I am a procrastinator. This is how I always have been with my schoolwork. In college there is no time to procrastinate you have to get your work done, so you are able to hand it in on time. Professors in college don’t take late work unlike teachers in high school. So once I learned this I had to do something about my bad habits.
I knew when I got to college that I would have to make a schedule each day o what assignments are due when and when I am able to have free time. So I decided the day I got my syllabuses that I would put every assignment into my agenda so I could plan my day around my assignments. Every time I finish an assignment I try to reward myself in someway so I can be motivated to go on with my work. For example I will have an informal essay to write for my English class. For each essay I get done I give myself time to go to my friends room so I can spend some time with her. I always try to give myself an hour before I go back to work. I’m lucky my friends understand how much work I have to do. In high school it was different every person had different amounts of work to do. Here in college we all have up to 15 hours of work each night.
I also knew that I wanted to go to the gym every single day to keep my mind and body healthy. A healthy body equals and healthy mind.  I also don’t procrastinate about working out so I have the mindset that work and working out are the same. So before I even got to southern I joined a gym so I would know how to work out every single day by myself when I got to southern. So once I got to southern I joined the gym and I have been going everyday to keep myself healthy and feeling good.
